Joined The Gardens in 2005
My family and I have made our home in the Upstate of SC for
22 years, with a short stay in the low country. My background
for many years was in Sales and Marketing in the hospitality
industry, but in 1997 my heart found a new passion in the assisted
living industry. For the past 8 years I have served two assisted
living communities in South Carolina as the Executive Director.
I am very excited about being a part of the team here at Gardens
at Eastside, and making a real difference in the lives of our
residents. |

Assistant Executive Director
Born in Pensacola, FL
Joined The Gardens in 2003
I am married with two daughters and I first started working
in long term care in early 1999. I joined The Gardens in 2003
and have worked in several different departments since my start.
I
am currently in charge of internal marketing and overseeing
the Dietary and Maintenance department. Ever since I walked
through our front doors, I have known that The Gardens is the
perfect fit for me. I could not imagine another job that could
possibly be more rewarding. |

Joined The Gardens in 2005
My husband and I have lived all over the United States and settled
in the upstate 14 years ago. We have two grown children. I have
many years experience in business and human resources and enjoy
working here at The Gardens at Eastside. The people here at
The Gardens are very warm and thoughtful and it is a great place
for your loved ones to live. |

I started my career at The Gardens in 2002. After working
in several departments, I found my passion in activities in
2003. It is such a blessing to be part of our residents’
lives, and to bring a little sunshine to them each day! I am
so thankful to God for being able to work in such an awesome
ministry, and to be part of such a great team!!! |

What a gift from God to be able to work with the senior population!
I have been in sales and marketing for over 30 years. The last
10 years, I have worked with three assisted living communities
within the Greenville area; serving as Director of Marketing
and Activities. I have been married for 33 years and have 2
children. My praying for the last two years to work for the
Gardens at Eastside was finally answered on June 15, 2007. I
am excited to be working in activities and for our future together
at The Gardens. |

Maintenance Director
I believe that serving others is my calling. I see it as a blessing
to be the new Maintenance Director for the residents at The
Gardens. As a previous business owner, I have several years
experience in maintenance and customer service which is a good
fit for my position. My wife’s family has lived in the
Greenville area for over 20 years and I moved here about 4 ½
years ago with my wife and son. Current hobbies include
playing baseball with my son, hiking, traveling, and eating
good food! I look forward to meeting you when you visit The
Gardens! |

Joined The Gardens in 2005
Hello! My name is B.J. Burns and I am in charge of all of the
external marketing for the community. I have over fourteen years
of home health marketing experience in the upstate. I have also
served on the Alzheimer’s Board of Directors for fourteen
years. I am currently Health Ministry Coordinator for Holly
Ridge Baptist Church. My passion has always been to work with
Senior Adults and I am so excited to be a part of the wonderful
team here at The Gardens of Eastside!!! |

Joined The Gardens in 2005
My husband and I have made Greenville, SC our home since November
2000, coming from Indiana. We have a daughter and plan to expand
our family. I have over 7 years experience as a Registered Nurse
with my primary passion for the geriatric field. My background
includes management of a Skilled/Rehab unit and over 4 years
of management in Assisted Living. I am happy to be a part of
The Gardens at Eastside team. |
