The Garden Suites – Restorative Care and Memory Care

The Dogwood Program - Restorative Care

The Dogwood program is designed for residents who have more enhanced care needs than what is provided on assisted living but do not need the structure and routine provided in the memory care program and who need occasional redirection and guidance. The Dogwood program includes:

• Medication management
• An intimate environment with its own dining and living/activities areas
• Outdoor walking paths and flower garden
• Continued assistance at meals (cutting meats and using condiments, for example)
• Assistance to and from dining and other activities
• Full assistance with showering, dressing and grooming
• Support with transfers which usually involve the assistance of one person
• Convenient access to rehabilitation and restorative care
• Occasional behavioral intervention
• Incontinence management (to include additional laundry and bathing as needed)

The Lantana Program - Memory Care

The Lantana memory care program is designed for residents with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia-related conditions and who need structure and routine, including frequent verbal redirection and guidance. The Lantana program includes:

• Medication management
• A custom-designed neighborhood with its own dining, living and activities areas
• Outdoor walking paths and flower garden
• Caring staff trained according to Alzheimer's Association guidelines
• Engaging activities program which integrates daily tasks of living
• Family support program endorsed by the Alzheimer's Association
• Incontinence management (to include additional laundry and bathing as needed)

Diabetic Management - Add $200 to the Dogwood or Lantana Rate
Includes daily blood sugar monitoring and insulin management.
